The Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation, Inc. (OPSF) is a not-for-profit community-based public schools foundation. It is a partnership between families, schools, community and business. Important Grant Preparation Guidelines

As a condition of a grant award, recipients are required to submit a Mid-Year & Final evaluation/successful outcomes of his/her project. We are also requiring each grant have either pre and posttest or pre and post survey. These documents must be attached with your mid-year and final evaluation. The evaluation will consist of a report documenting final results (based on the goals and objectives set forth in the proposal) and will require a final budget analysis.

Please also be aware that recipients are required to turn in ALL receipts documenting grant-funded purchase of materials, supplies, and services.

  • All awards are granted on a competitive basis. Therefore, do not include your name or your school name in the body of the proposal for evaluation purposes.
  • Some items, materials and activities are NOT fundable. Please consult the expenditures section for allowable funding categories.
  • All grants must have measurable outcomes.
  • All grants must have a pre and posttest or a pre and post survey. These documents must be attached with your mid-year and final report.
  • All programs must have academic data to document success of their program.
  • All purchases of individual assets costing $500.00 or more are required to be tagged and inventoried annually by the Foundation and must be returned to the Foundation for disposal.
  • If you are requesting iPad/ iPads, you must obtain a quote from William Hagan via Mobile Learning- https://ms.960design.com/. For chrome book, smart boards, you must obtain a quote from Dustin Keith (via email at KeithD@okaloosaschools.com) & any network support fees for this school year. These documents must be attached to your grant. In addition, there must be a plan for future network support for year’s two and three for Seat/Support Management if the equipment requires the support. Also, these quotes must be submitted with your application.
  • Do not account for sales tax. Your school is tax exempt.
  • Failure to follow directions will render your application ineligible.

Process

1. Register

Click on the "Register" link and complete and submit the registration form.

2. Login

Login to the program with your email and password.

3. Create

Create your online application.

4. Save

During the Call for Applications period, your application can be saved as DRAFT until all the required information is completed and attachments uploaded. As each section is complete, you will see a appear in the category tab when the application is saved. At any time, you can download and print your application by clicking on the icon in the Application Summary section.

5. Submit

On completion, save your application as FINAL. Download and print a copy of your application for your records by clicking on the icon in the Application Summary section in the right column. Note: If an update is required prior to the Call for Applications period, you can make the update and resave as FINAL.
